Check whether your Xbox 360 controller is wireless
Get an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for PC
Plug the receiver into a USB port on your PC
Install the receiver driver if Windows does not do it automatically
Turn on the Xbox 360 controller
Press the connect button on the wireless receiver
Press the connect button on the controller
Wait for the lights to stop flashing and stay solid
Open Game Controllers settings to confirm the controller is detected
If needed, update or reinstall the receiver driver in Device Manager
If needed, try a different USB port and repeat the pairing process
