Log in to your PayPal account
Go to Settings
Click Account options
Select Close your account
Follow the on-screen prompts
Confirm the account closure
Download any needed transaction records before closing
Withdraw any remaining balance before closing
Cancel any active subscriptions or automatic payments
Remove linked bank accounts and cards if needed
Contact PayPal support if the close option is unavailable
