Log in to your PayPal account
Go to Settings
Open Account settings
Find the Close your account option
Review any remaining balance or unresolved issues
Transfer or withdraw any money in the account
Cancel any active subscriptions or automatic payments
Resolve any pending transactions or disputes
Confirm account closure
Follow the on-screen prompts to permanently close the account
