Turn on your TV and Xfinity TV box
Insert fresh batteries into the Xfinity remote
Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes from red to green
Enter the 5-digit TV manufacturer code using the number buttons
Point the remote at the TV and press Power
If the TV turns off, press Setup to save the code
If the TV does not turn off, repeat with a different code
To pair the remote with the Xfinity box, press and hold Setup until the LED turns green
Enter 9-8-1
Press the Power button and wait for the LED to blink
Follow the on-screen instructions if prompted
If your remote has no Setup button, press and hold Xfinity and Info together until the LED flashes, then follow the pairing prompts on screen
