How To Pan Cook Salmon?

Pat salmon dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat

Add a small amount of oil to the pan

Place salmon skin-side down if it has skin

Press gently for a few seconds to keep it flat

Cook without moving it for several minutes

Flip once the first side is browned and crisp

Cook the other side until just done

Remove from the pan and rest briefly before serving
