How To Pan Fry Cod?

Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and pepper

Lightly dust with flour if desired

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat

Add enough oil to coat the pan

Place cod in the hot skillet

Cook without moving until golden on one side

Flip carefully with a spatula

Cook until the other side is golden and the fish flakes easily

Remove from the pan

Serve immediately
