Open Settings
Tap Privacy & Security
Tap Location Services
Turn off Location Services to pause location for all apps
Or tap an individual app and select Never or Ask Next Time to pause location for that app
To stop sharing your location with specific people, open Find My
Tap People
Select the person
Tap Stop Sharing My Location
To pause location temporarily, turn on Airplane Mode
To resume location, turn Location Services back on or disable Airplane Mode
