Wash your hands
Read the product instructions before use
Check the expiration date
Gather the enema, lubricant if needed, and a towel
Empty your bladder if possible
Lie on your left side with your right knee bent, or follow the package directions
Remove the cap from the enema tip
Apply lubricant to the tip if recommended
Gently insert the tip into the rectum as directed on the package
Squeeze the bottle or container slowly to release the liquid
Remove the tip when empty or as directed
Stay in position for the recommended time
Hold the enema for the recommended amount of time if instructed
Go to the toilet when ready to evacuate
Dispose of single-use products as directed
Wash your hands again
Stop and seek medical advice if you have pain, bleeding, dizziness, or trouble using it
