Cut off the crown
Score the skin from top to bottom in several sections
Gently pull the fruit apart along the scored lines
Hold each section over a bowl
Tap the back of each section to release the seeds
Remove any white pith
Rinse the seeds if needed
Pat the seeds dry before using
