Choose a pot with drainage holes
Fill the pot with well-draining cactus or succulent soil
Remove the aloe vera plant from its old container
Gently shake off excess soil from the roots
Place the plant in the new pot at the same soil level
Add soil around the roots and lightly firm it
Leave a small gap between the soil surface and the pot rim
Water lightly after planting
Place the pot in bright, indirect sunlight
Wait until the soil dries completely before watering again
