How to Plant Beetroot?

Choose a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil

Remove rocks, weeds, and debris from the planting area

Mix in compost or well-rotted manure before planting

Sow beetroot seeds directly into the soil

Plant seeds about 1 to 2 inches apart

Cover seeds with about 1/2 inch of soil

Water the soil gently after planting

Keep the soil evenly moist during germination

Thin seedlings to about 3 to 4 inches apart after they sprout

Mulch lightly to help retain moisture and suppress weeds

Water regularly to prevent roots from becoming tough

Harvest when roots reach the desired size
