Divide players into two teams
Set up the Catch Phrase device or app
Choose which team goes first
Have one player hold the device and press start
Give clues to help teammates guess the word or phrase
Do not say the exact word or any part of it
Do not use rhymes, initials, or spelling clues
Pass the device to a teammate when they guess correctly
Keep passing until the buzzer sounds
The team holding the device when time runs out loses the round
Give the point to the other team
Repeat with the next team taking a turn
Continue until one team reaches the agreed winning score
