Draw a grid of dots.
Take turns with another player.
On your turn, draw one straight line between two adjacent dots.
Lines can be horizontal or vertical only.
Do not draw diagonal lines.
Do not draw a line that already exists.
If your line completes the fourth side of a box, claim that box.
Mark the box with your initial or color.
If you complete a box, take another turn.
Continue until all lines are drawn and all boxes are claimed.
The player with the most boxes wins.
