Find matching pairs of identical free tiles
A free tile has no tile on top of it and at least one side open
Select two matching free tiles to remove them from the board
Keep removing pairs until all tiles are cleared
If no moves remain, the game is over
Use hints or undo if the version you are playing allows them
Plan ahead to avoid blocking important tiles
Prioritize removing tiles that unlock more moves
