The first player says a “Never have I ever…” statement
Everyone who has done it admits it or takes a drink, loses a point, or lowers a finger depending on the rules
Everyone who has not done it does nothing
Take turns going around the circle
Keep playing until you decide to stop
Follow the agreed-upon rules for scoring or penalties
