Shuffle a standard 52-card deck
Deal all cards evenly to the players
Start with the player who has the 7 of diamonds, or the agreed starting 7
Place the 7 of diamonds in the center
On each turn, play a card that connects to an existing card in the layout
Cards must be played in sequence by suit
For each suit, build upward from 7 to 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A
For each suit, build downward from 7 to 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A
If you cannot play, pass
Continue taking turns until no one can play any more cards
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins
If playing with scoring, count remaining cards in each player’s hand after the round
Play multiple rounds if desired and total the scores
