Shuffle the deck and deal all cards evenly to each player
Keep your cards face down in a stack
Each player flips the top card at the same time
The player with the higher card wins both cards and places them at the bottom of their stack
If the cards are tied, declare war
In war, each player places three cards face down and one card face up
Compare the new face-up cards
The higher card wins all cards in the war
Repeat war if there is another tie
Keep playing until one player has all the cards
Aces are usually high, and 2 is usually low
