Open the Alexa app on your phone
Tap More
Tap Settings
Tap Music & Podcasts
Tap Link New Service
Select Spotify
Tap Enable to Use
Sign in to your Spotify account
Tap Agree to connect the accounts
Tap Default Services
Choose Spotify as the default music service
Say, “Alexa, play music on Spotify”
Say, “Alexa, play [song, artist, album, or playlist] on Spotify”
If needed, set Spotify as the default in the Alexa app again
Make sure your Alexa device and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network
Make sure your Spotify account is active and logged in
Use a Spotify Premium account for full voice control features
