Slowly rotate your ankle in circles
Try a light calf stretch
Walk a few steps and see if it releases naturally
Warm the area with a shower or warm compress
If there is pain, swelling, or injury, do not try to pop it
Seek medical care if the ankle is painful, unstable, or repeatedly needs popping
