Get your Airtel SIM card from an Airtel store, retailer, or Airtel representative
Send an SMS with your current mobile number to 1900 to receive the UPC code
Note the UPC code and its validity period
Visit an Airtel store or authorized retailer with your UPC code, ID proof, and passport-size photo if required
Submit the porting request form and choose your Airtel plan
Provide the UPC code and complete biometric or KYC verification if asked
Wait for the porting process to complete
Keep your current SIM active until it stops working
Insert the Airtel SIM after the old SIM stops working
Restart your phone and verify network activation
Complete any required Airtel SIM activation steps if prompted
