Open Instagram and go to the Reel you want to share
Tap the paper airplane or share icon
Select Add reel to your story
Edit the story if needed
Tap Your story to post it
If you do not want to post it, tap the X or back button to cancel
To share without publishing, save the Reel to your device first
Open Story camera and upload the saved Reel from your gallery
Keep the story in drafts if you want to save it without posting
Use Close Friends if you want to limit who sees it after posting
