Back up any important files to Google Drive or an external drive
Sign out of your Google account
Turn off the Chromebook completely
Plug in the Chromebook if needed
Press and hold Esc + Refresh, then press Power
When the recovery screen appears, release the keys
Press Ctrl + D
Press Enter to confirm turning off OS verification
Wait for the Chromebook to restart and begin Powerwash
Follow the on-screen setup prompts
Sign in again after the reset is complete
