Let the chops rest at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes
Heat a skillet, grill, or oven-safe pan over medium-high heat
Add a small amount of oil to the pan if pan-searing
Sear the chops for 3 to 5 minutes per side until browned
Reduce heat and cook until desired doneness is reached
Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer
Rest the chops for 5 to 10 minutes before serving
