Press Windows + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot to Pictures > Screenshots
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and capture a selected area, window, or full screen
Open Snipping Tool from the Start menu to take and edit screenshots
Press Fn + PrtScn on some keyboards if PrtScn requires the Fn key
Press Windows + Volume Down on some tablets or touch devices
Paste clipboard screenshots into Paint, Word, or another app with Ctrl + V
