Open Roblox and join the same game or experience as the person you want to chat with
Use the in-game chat if the experience allows it
Open the player list or leaderboard
Select the player’s name
Choose the message, whisper, or chat option if available
Use Roblox direct messages if the user has them enabled
Go to the user’s profile
Click Message if the option is available
Add the person as a friend if needed
Use a private server to chat more privately with friends
Use a group chat if you are both in the same Roblox group
Check privacy settings to allow messages from friends or specific users
Make sure both accounts are allowed to chat by age and privacy settings
