Turn on the device you want to control
Press and hold the TV button on the Dish remote until all mode buttons light up
Enter the 3-digit or 4-digit code for your TV or device
Press the pound button to save the code
Press the Power button to test the remote
If the device does not turn off, repeat with another code
To scan for codes automatically, press and hold the TV button until the lights turn on
Press the Power button repeatedly until the device turns off
Press the pound button to save the found code
If needed, repeat the same steps for other devices such as AUX, DVD, or Blu-ray
If the remote still does not work, replace the batteries and try again
