Turn on your Fire TV Stick and open the home screen
Press and hold the Home button on the remote for 10 seconds
If prompted, select your language and follow the on-screen pairing steps
If the remote is not paired, press and hold the Home and Back buttons at the same time for 10–15 seconds
Wait for the remote to pair (the LED may blink, then stay steady)
If pairing fails, replace the remote batteries (remove cover, insert correct batteries, close cover)
Unplug the Fire TV Stick power adapter, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, and try pairing again
For TV control (volume/power), open Settings
Select Display & Sounds
Select Control for HDMI (or Equipment Control)
Choose Manage Equipment
Select TV
Select your TV brand and follow the prompts to pair volume/power
Test volume up/down and power buttons to confirm TV control works
For additional remotes, open Settings
Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the new remote
