How To Make Sangria?

Gather ingredients: red wine (750 ml), brandy (1/4 cup), orange liqueur (1/4 cup), simple syrup or sugar (to taste), orange (1), lemon (1), lime (1), berries or sliced fruit (1–2 cups), optional cinnamon stick (1), optional cloves (2–4)

Slice fruit into thin rounds or bite-size pieces

In a pitcher, add sliced fruit and cinnamon stick/cloves if using

Add simple syrup (or sugar) and stir to dissolve

Pour in brandy and orange liqueur

Add red wine and stir gently

Refrigerate at least 2 hours, up to overnight

Just before serving, add ice to glasses or chill the sangria mixture thoroughly and pour over ice

Taste and adjust sweetness with more syrup/sugar or more citrus if needed

Serve cold in large glasses
