Use a USB cable and enable USB tethering or file transfer if your goal is to mirror or access content
On Android, open Quick Settings and tap Cast, Screen Cast, Smart View, or Wireless Display
On iPhone, use AirPlay with a compatible Mac or AirPlay receiver app on the laptop
Install a phone mirroring app on the laptop, such as Phone Link, scrcpy, Vysor, AirDroid, or LetsView
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network if using wireless mirroring
Enable developer options and USB debugging on Android if using scrcpy or similar tools
Open the mirroring app on the laptop and follow the pairing or connection steps
Allow screen recording, casting, or display permissions on the phone when prompted
Select the laptop from the phone’s cast or mirror list
Enter the pairing code if required
Adjust display settings on the laptop for full screen or windowed view
Stop mirroring from the phone’s cast menu or close the mirroring app on the laptop
