Check that your laptop and TV support the same connection method
Use an HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the TV
Select the correct HDMI input on the TV
On Windows, press Windows key + P and choose Duplicate or Extend
On Mac, open Control Center, select Screen Mirroring, and choose the TV
If using wireless mirroring, connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network
Enable screen mirroring, casting, or AirPlay on the TV
On Windows, open Settings, go to System, then Display, and select Connect to a wireless display
On Mac, use AirPlay from the menu bar if the TV supports it
Adjust display settings on the laptop if needed
Set the TV as the primary display if desired
Update laptop and TV software if the connection fails
Restart both devices if mirroring does not work
Use a compatible adapter if your laptop does not have an HDMI port
