Choose a healthy fiddle leaf fig stem with at least one node and one or more leaves
Use clean, sharp pruning shears to cut just below a node
Remove the lower leaves so the node is exposed
Place the cutting in water or moist potting mix
Keep the cutting in bright, indirect light
Maintain warm temperatures
Change the water regularly if propagating in water
Keep the soil lightly moist if propagating in soil
Wait for roots to develop
Pot up the cutting once roots are several inches long
Use a well-draining potting mix
Water lightly after potting and continue normal care
