Choose a healthy parent succulent
Use clean, sharp scissors or a knife
Remove a leaf by twisting it off cleanly from the stem
Take stem cuttings from a healthy section of the plant
Let leaves or cuttings dry and form a callus
Place callused leaves on dry, well-draining soil
Insert stem cuttings into dry, well-draining soil
Keep the soil slightly moist only after roots begin to form
Place the propagation tray or pot in bright, indirect light
Avoid overwatering
Wait for roots and new growth to develop
Transplant rooted succulents into individual pots when established
