Check the expiration date and package for damage
Open the package carefully without tearing the condom
Make sure the condom is the right way up
Pinch the tip to leave space for semen
Place the condom on the tip of the erect penis
Roll it down all the way to the base
If it does not roll easily, it may be inside out; use a new condom
Use lubricant if needed, making sure it is condom-safe
After ejaculation, hold the condom at the base while withdrawing
Remove the condom carefully to avoid spilling
Tie it off and throw it in the trash
Use a new condom for each act of sex
