Test all lights before starting
Plug in the first strand to check for broken bulbs
Start at the bottom of the tree near the trunk
Wrap lights around the tree from inside to outside
Work upward in sections
Space strands evenly
Tuck lights deeper into branches for a fuller glow
Place some lights closer to the trunk and some on the tips
Use extension cords if needed
Keep the plug end accessible
Add more strands as you move up
Step back often to check for even coverage
Adjust any dark spots
Secure loose wires with light clips if needed
Finish at the top and hide the final plug or cord
Turn on the lights and make final adjustments
