Trim the Gel X nails as short as possible

Gently file off the shiny top layer with a nail file

Soak cotton balls in acetone

Place the acetone-soaked cotton on each nail

Wrap each fingertip with foil or use nail clips

Wait 15 to 20 minutes

Check if the Gel X has softened

Gently push off the softened product with a cuticle pusher

Rewrap and soak again if needed

Lightly buff away any remaining residue

Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream
