Park the car on a level surface and let the engine cool completely
Turn off the engine and open the hood
Locate the radiator cap or coolant reservoir
Check the coolant level
Use the correct coolant type for your vehicle
Mix coolant with distilled water if required by the product
Slowly remove the radiator cap only when the engine is cool
Pour coolant into the radiator or reservoir until it reaches the proper level
Do not overfill
Replace the radiator cap securely
Check the coolant reservoir and fill to the marked line if needed
Start the engine and let it run briefly
Recheck the coolant level after the engine cools again
Dispose of any spilled coolant safely
