Wash your hands thoroughly
Clean the nose ring with saline or mild soap and water
Stand in front of a mirror with good lighting
Hold the twisted end of the nose ring firmly
Gently insert the straight end into the piercing
Rotate the ring slowly in the direction of the twist
Guide the ring through until the twisted section is fully seated
Adjust the ring so it sits comfortably
Check that it is secure but not tight
Clean the area again with saline if needed
