Turn on the Canon printer
Open the printer cover or ink access door
Wait for the cartridge holder to move to the replacement position
Remove the empty or old ink cartridge
Unpack the new Canon ink cartridge
Remove the protective tape or seal from the cartridge
Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot
Push the cartridge in until it clicks into place
Close the printer cover or ink access door
Follow any on-screen prompts on the printer or computer
Run a test print if needed
