Turn on the printer
Open the printer cover or ink access door
Wait for the ink carriage to move to the replacement position
Remove the empty ink cartridge
Unpack the new ink cartridge
Remove the protective tape or seal from the new cartridge
Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot
Push the cartridge in until it clicks into place
Close the printer cover or ink access door
Wait for the printer to recognize the new ink
Run a test print if needed
