Open WhatsApp

Tap Privacy
Tap App lock or Fingerprint lock or Screen lock
Turn on Unlock with fingerprint or Face ID or Device passcode
Confirm your fingerprint, Face ID, or passcode
Choose when WhatsApp should lock automatically
Close WhatsApp and reopen it to test the lock
