Open the Angel One app or web platform
Log in to your trading account
Go to the stock or order you want to place a stop loss for
Choose the order type as Limit, Market, or Stop Loss
Select Stop Loss Market or Stop Loss Limit if available
Enter the trigger price
Enter the limit price if using Stop Loss Limit
Enter the quantity
Review the order details
Place the order
For an existing position, go to Holdings or Positions
Select the stock
Choose Exit, Sell, or Modify Order
Add or edit the stop loss trigger price
Confirm and submit the order
