Identify your triggers and avoid them when possible
Replace snuff use with sugar-free gum, mints, toothpicks, or water
Change routines linked to snuff use
Use nicotine replacement therapy if needed
Consider prescription quit medications with a doctor
Join a quitline, support group, or counseling program
Track cravings and ride them out without using
Keep busy with exercise, hobbies, or tasks
Avoid alcohol and other triggers during the first weeks
Clean clothes, car, and spaces that smell like snuff

If you slip, restart immediately and keep going
