Click the Start menu
Select the Power icon
Click Restart
Save any open work before restarting
If the laptop is frozen, press and hold the Power button until it turns off
Wait a few seconds
Press the Power button again to turn it back on
If using Windows sign-in screen, click the Power icon and select Restart
If the laptop is unresponsive, unplug the charger and remove the battery if possible before restarting
If needed, use Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Restart from the Power options
