Back up your important files
Plug in the charger
Click Start
Open Settings
Go to System
Select Recovery
Under Reset this PC, click Reset PC
Choose Keep my files or Remove everything
Select Local reinstall or Cloud download
Follow the on-screen instructions
Wait for the reset to complete
Set up Windows again after restart
If Windows will not boot, turn off the laptop
Turn it on and press F9 repeatedly
Select Troubleshoot
Select Reset this PC
Choose Keep my files or Remove everything
Follow the on-screen instructions
If F9 does not work, turn off the laptop
Turn it on and press F2 repeatedly
Enter BIOS if needed
Check that recovery options are enabled
Save and exit
Try F9 again
If recovery is unavailable, use an ASUS recovery USB or Windows installation media
Boot from the USB
Select Repair your computer or Install now
Choose Reset this PC or reinstall Windows
Follow the on-screen instructions
