Check Recently Deleted (Photos app)
Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted
Select photos → Recover
If prompted, confirm recovery
If photos are not in Recently Deleted, stop using the device and proceed below
Recover from iCloud Photos
Go to iCloud.com → Photos
Check Recently Deleted in iCloud Photos
Select photos → Recover
If you use iCloud backups, restore via iCloud
Connect iPhone to Wi‑Fi and power
Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings
During setup, choose Restore from iCloud Backup
Sign in with the Apple ID used for the backup
Restore from a computer backup (Finder/iTunes)
Connect iPhone to the computer you used for backups
Open Finder (macOS Catalina and later) or iTunes (Windows/macOS Mojave and earlier)
Select iPhone → Restore Backup
Choose the backup made before deletion → Restore
After restore, open Photos to verify
If using iCloud Photos with sync, ensure iCloud Photos is enabled
Settings → Photos → iCloud Photos (toggle on)
Wait for sync to complete
If using third-party recovery tools, follow their instructions to scan the device
Contact Apple Support if you cannot recover via Recently Deleted, iCloud, or backups
