Reinstall/enable Google Messages
Sign in with the same Google account
Turn on SMS backup/restore
Restore when prompted during setup or in Messages settings
Restore from Samsung Messages backup (if using Samsung Messages)
Open Samsung Cloud/Google backup depending on your device
Restore Messages from the backup in Settings
Use carrier/sync options if your carrier provides message backup or cloud sync
Check if the messages were exported or backed up to a computer previously
Check for third-party recovery apps (use only if you understand risks and permissions)
Stop using the phone immediately after deletion to reduce overwrite risk
Avoid installing new apps or saving new data before attempting recovery
Attempt recovery with a computer-based tool that supports Android SMS recovery (requires device access and may not work on modern Android without backup)
If messages were deleted long ago or encryption/overwrite occurred, recovery may not be possible without a prior backup
