Dress the infant in light, breathable clothing
Keep the room comfortably cool
Offer breast milk or formula more often
Use a lukewarm sponge bath if advised by a doctor
Keep the infant well hydrated
Allow plenty of rest
Use a cool, damp cloth on the forehead if tolerated
Avoid heavy blankets and overdressing
