Select the text you want to change
Go to the Home tab
Click Line and Paragraph Spacing
Choose a smaller spacing option
Click Line Spacing Options for more settings
Set Before to 0 pt
Set After to 0 pt
Set Line spacing to Single or Exactly
Click OK
To change the whole document, press Ctrl+A first
To remove extra paragraph spacing, click Remove Space After Paragraph or Remove Space Before Paragraph
