Freeze the fabric with ice cubes or a freezer bag
Scrape off the hardened gum with a dull knife or spoon
Apply rubbing alcohol, vinegar, or a stain remover to the residue
Gently blot and lift the gum with a cloth
Wash the fabric according to the care label
Air-dry and check for any remaining residue before drying again
Repeat if needed
