Go to the Xbox refund request page on a web browser
Sign in with the Microsoft account used to buy the game
Find the game in your purchase history
Select the game and choose Request a refund
Fill out the refund form and submit it
Wait for Microsoft to review the request
Check your email for the refund decision
If approved, wait for the refund to be processed to your original payment method
If the game was bought through a third-party retailer, contact that retailer instead
