Sign in to your Microsoft account on account.microsoft.com
Go to Order history (or Services & subscriptions → Xbox → Order history)
Find the Xbox game purchase
Select Request a refund
Follow the prompts to submit the refund request
Check your email for the refund status update
If you don’t see the option, open Microsoft Support and choose Xbox → Refunds, then submit a request with your order details
